In the Paints and Galaxies workshop, we guide you step by step in painting the starry night sky using watercolors. The paintings are made up of several layers of color, which makes it easy to succeed and relaxed.

During the workshop, two paintings will be made and you can realize your own galactic vision using watercolors!

In the workshop, we get to know the gouache technique and everyone gets to create a gouache painting with a human theme! The works are carried out in a simplified, naive, abstract or even cartoon-like way! The main part of the works are colors, which are used to create the impression of a human figure. The work is done on high-quality, thick watercolor paper.

In the Paints and Botanicals workshop, various plant motifs are painted with gouache, i.e. masking colors. During the workshop, one practice work will be done, during which you will get to know gouache paints and their use. In addition to the practice work, another plant painting of your choice will be painted. Gouache colors are spectacular, thick, velvety, water-thinned paints that are easy to paint with. The paintings are made on high-quality watercolor paper or alternatively on colored thick paper.

We always publish the dates two months in advance.

During the workshop we'll teach and guide you to create your own abstract painting using texture paste on a 42x60cm board. The abstract paste patterns can be shaped and composed using various tools, such as a palette knife or a fork. The technique focuses on composition through various three-dimensional surfaces, but the work can also be painted with acrylic paints. The end result is often minimalist, but outstanding. 

You can bring your own wines or other refreshments to the workshop to enjoy while painting (please note that the wine is at your own expense). We have wine glasses and a bottle opener on site.

If you wish, you can take the dried paintings with you immediately after the workshop, or you can leave the work to dry for us. We keep paintings left to dry for two weeks.

We have protective jackets and aprons on site for the duration of painting, but please note that painting may be messy and paint may also spill onto clothes despite the protective jackets.
